Never EVER use oil right before heat!! You will literally cook your hair 😣
Personally, I love the got 2 b guardian angel heat protectant. It really helped protect my hair from damage without feeling super heavy. I haven't tried anything I like better.

Tresemme! It's a great protectant and it doesn't feel oily (which is important because oil heats up quickly and will burn your hair, having the opposite effect of a heat protectant) please please please do not use oil on your hair. It may seem like it's really moisturizing but when heat is applied, it will fry your hair

I am recently loving the Pantene BB Creme and it is 10 and 1 meaning it can:
Repair rough hair
Strength against damage
Silky softness
Brilliant shine smoothing
Moisturize
Frizz control
Heat protectant
Manageability
And tame fly always
This product is simply amazing and not to mention it smells really good!! 😀

Les, I currently use Pro Naturals Moroccan Argan Oil leave in treatment after shampooing & conditioning and this acts as a protectant against heat damage, works really well for me.

Don't use oil before heat. When you cook with oil, you are essentially deep frying. If you slather oil on your hair then use heat, you're basically deep frying your hair.
