I'm in a dilemma. I was trying to bleach hair extensions and it didn't work. I did a sample piece and bleached perfectly. when I did all of the extensions it didn't life much just to a brassy greenish yellow car I was wondering if there was anything else I could do to get it lighter. I had to use 40 volume developer and 7 stage lightening powder.

It's bad to bleach extensions. they'll never go the desired colour due to treatments and the different colour strands in each piece. I wouldn't bleach they anymore as you're going to ruin them. I would throw an golden brown or dark blonde over them to tone and then if you're really wanting blonde, order a blonde set

Are they human hair? there are a lot of tutorials on YouTube about bleaching human hair extensions

I've bleached extensions before and never had this problem. Are they 100% human? I know some companies say their hair is Remy but really they put synthetic pieces through it and that compromises the bleaching and dying and anything inbetween.
