Rimmel London Stay Matte is a really good mousse foundation. It's the only mousse I've tried, so there's nothing I can really compare it to. I loved it! Really blendable, and didn't dry my skin out at all.

I didn't like the Maybelline mousse either. It was so cakey on me. Also, I wasn't a fan of the Rimmel Stay Matte either, I found the colour far too orange for me even though I had the lightest shade and it also was hard to blend I found.

I agree with Hollie. Mousse foundations in general are terrible in my opinion.

I really was impressed with the Maybelline matte mousse, the coverage is medium but can be built up to full. When picking any foundation you need to be familiar with what you purchase and understand how to apply it because if your unfamiliar with a mousse product you'll have a difficult time making it work. Most think every product works the same and apply it on like if it were a liquid and you can't do that with a mousse. Also always start with a thin layer apply with your fingers or flat foundation brush then let sit for a few seconds then go over areas you need more coverage on with a Stipple brush,in a Stipple motion.Another thing is make sure your skin is a smooth canvas and also make sure you read the titles of the mousse check if it's a matte or smooth or hydrating finish. :)
