I'd go with the smiley, I've had mine done and it didn't hurt at all and heals pretty fast, however I'm a weirdo and my piercer freaked out when she realised I had a double webbing (just means mine would have less chance of rejection because it was a little thicker) so keep that in mind, they are very prone to rejection and at first you'll need to wear a curved barbell to ensure there's as little pressure pulling on the piercing as possible and the balls kind of leave a dent in your gums while it's healing which can be a little uncomfortable for the first few weeks.
