So for this look I used the tarte Amazonian clay foundation, then applied the Clinique acne solutions concealer on my pimples (to color correct for redness and leave a matte finish since they started out red n that concealer has a green tint to it)
Then I set all that with a light overall dusting of the KVD pressed powder foundation with a kabuki brush - then I filled in my brows with Clinique brow powder in charcoal, used Clinique high impact mascara, and UD 24/7 pencil liner in black and used Clinique blush in coral and lips are nyx matte lipstick in natural.
Overall I'm loving the tarte foundation - it's medium buildable coverage that covers my acne scars pretty well without the need for primer or concealer so that's great and this look lasts me all day until I come home and wipe it off - if you beauties have trouble with covering up acne or acne scars I would love to see your before n after photos too (be brave!) and know what products you use to achieve your look - thanks!

Oh and forgot to mention after I applied everything I set it all with the tarte smooth operator powder and the model in a model setting spray :)

Nice! That foundation is mousse consistency, right? My makeup is already done for today but I'll come back to this tomorrow and gladly show my before and after! I'm loving a recent foundation I've been using because it covers so well.

Yeah girl or post your "before" after you take off your makeup but yeah it is really creamy mousse like consistency - it glides on so smooth.

Oh yeah, didn't think of that! It's quite dark here though, I wanted to capture everything in natural light to get the true coverage! Maybe I'll do that though. And cool :-) I've heard mixed reviews on that foundation, but I recently got the Rimmel stay matte one, with the same consistency, and I LOVE it! So, I was wondering if that consistency would be the same which your description seems like my judgment was correct haha

Oh nice - I'm always scared to use drugstore foundation cause I had lots of bad experiences - that one doesn't break you out?

I'm like the queen of drugstore foundations haha I've tried a lot, I'm too cheap to spend on higher end, but I need to start! Drugstore is always orange or pink, and I have yellow undertones! And no! Thank goodness! I even fell asleep with it on once (bad) and no breakouts! I really like it
