I keep on getting split ends and I revisit the hairdresser once per month. Does anyone have any tips about how I can stop my split ends.

The only thing you can do is cut them. Do you color your hair or use a lot of heat? That could be why, your hair could just be really damaged. Use hair masks with lots of moisture and protein, and use leave in treatments everytime you wash your hair :)

You don't have to cut them! Trust me. Use a conditioner that's supposed to be a rinse out but I used it as a leave in and it helped my hair tons. They were gone In about a month. It's the K-PAK deep penetrating constructor (it's made for damaged hair) it's about $19 but totally worth it :-)

I would apply it right after a shower on the tips working my way up to my hair. A little goes a long way. Maybe a quarter sized amount for medium length hair like mine. and then I would slowly brush my hair and leave it to dry. In about 2 weeks they were so much better.

Ya just have to cut it off and try your hardest to protect your hair from there on out. I recommend coconut oil. I use it as a deep conditioner. You can use it as a deep conditioner, but beware: it doesn't come out easily. I only put it in my ends and even then it takes two washes to get out, but the fact that it is hard to get out shows that the moisture will really stay.

Sadie and Ruby are correct, you can't "repair" split ends. Cut them all off and use a hair repair system I use Pro Naturals and because you can use it alongside your own favorite shampoo & conditioner I have found it to be very good value for money.
