Mystic tan or versa spa.

I don't know if this belongs in skincare or beauty.. so my bad if its wrong. But anyway I've been using tanning beds forver (horrible ik) and decided to stop and try spray tans. So my question is mystic or versa? and any tips or tricks ya got :)

The main difference between a mystic and versa are color payoff. Versa solution is just lighter than mystic. If you normally go dark in versa go medium in mystic and so forth. Mystic's also allow you to add color boosters and scents to their mixture, personally I think all that is unneeded. Mystic's have to be calibrated or the color can be all jacked up which is why I prefer Versa over mystic. The positions you stand in and the directions you turn will be different between the two. I also feel more tacky after using the mystic than I do the versa. It's really all in personal preference. I worked at a tanning salon for a while and we had both when asking customers about the two it really is all personal preference.

Thank you Tiffany :) I have read more good reviews on the versa so I was aiming more towards that one. Just like to hear everyones thoughts on here!!

I've only tried Mystic. I used to go once a week. There are some mystic machines that are better than others. There's a newer version of them that actually has blowers to dry you after. So much better than the machines that basically have you pat yourself with towels after. You have to do a really good job at making sure you rub in be barrier cream not to get orange hands. Definitely make sure you wear older clothes after because you do feel kind of sticky. I've personally started using the Jergens gradual tan foam as opposed to spray tans.

I love Mystic but agree with Maggie that some machines are terrible. Just go to one of the nicer places in your neighborhood:)

I literally JUST (this week lol) switched from Versa to Mystic! I hope it goes well for me lol everyone's preference seems to be Versa!
