Makeup forever hd mattifying primer, can I use it with other foundation?

I'm broke and I only have this primer, can I use it with Estée Lauder dw foundation? I'm having a friend's wedding today and I've no time to try it and check if it goes well or not.. Have anyone tried these two products together? If so dose it stay matte or looks oily?

If you're talking about that new step one product, I didn't like it. Too expensive and didn't work as well as 7 dollar stay matte...I used it with Colorstay and it just made me greasy within an hour vs the three hours I get before I blot with stay matte.
