Yeah, cartilage piercings take a lot longer then 2 months to heal, at least 6-12 months before they're "fully" healed for most people. Are you still cleaning them and what have you been using to clean them with so far?

Remember to clean! I had a single cartilage piercing, and it was just over a year and it got infected (I think) I should have gone to the doctor, but I didn't. But I got lucky and I let it close up, and repierced it myself, (again, I got lucky and nothing bad happened, but NEVER pierce anything Yourself.) and I have a question; how did they pierce it? Did they use a needle or a piercing gun?

Cartledge piercings can take up to a year to fully heal, I would continue to clean it but you'll be okay.

I have one cartilage piercing, and it still hurts sometimes if I sleep wrong/starts to get infected every once and a while. Mine is four YEARS old. Just make sure you're taking care of it, I think it's completely normal

It might take a long time as the others have mentionned. Mine take forever but I personally don't clean them very often passed 6 weeks and they end up fine. It is very normal but just as an fyi if you have any concern you can call the piercing shop.

Hi Melissa :) Questions about piercings and tattoos belong in the style section! I will go ahead and move this to style for you :)
As for your question, I don't have piercings myself but I would say as long as it's not hurting and bleeding it sounds like they are healing fine, and getting 5 will of cause take longer to heal! People also heal at different speeds, I heal so slow, so that might play a part!
How long did the piercer say it would take to heal?
If you are feeling like it's taking to long or not healing in the right way I would call your piercer and tell him/her about your concerns :)

I've had mine a year & they're still not fully healed. It'll take long because there's no blood vessels/veins in cartilage. Just keep cleaning & be patient.

Cartilage piercings take a year to fully heal, so I think it's normal

Sorry I wasn't too sure where this thread should go. Anyways. So I have had my piercing about 2 and a half months. It is 5 cartilage piercings in the shape of a star. It is mostly healed as it does not bleed and I can usually sleep on it without it hurting. Sometimes if I press it to hard into things it will not feel comfortable. Anyways the skin around the piercings is still faintly red. Not bright red just a little discoloured. And there are still crusties around the piercings once in awhile. I know since it is 5 piercings it will take a little longer to heal. But is this normal??
