Which curling wand does prettier curls/ waves the 1/2" or 1"??

Alyssa M.
Depends how big of curls you want. I had a 1" and i switched to a bigger barrel for bigger curls. The one inch will give spiral curls.

Have you tried the 1/2"?

1/2 inch is going to give you really tight curls

If I'm going for tighter curls, I use the one inch and then do touch ups with the 1/2 inch does that make sense? For me, it's too tight of
A curl to do my entire hair in.

So since my hair is short well a little past my shoulders what would look better tighter curls or looser ones??

That's about my hair length. I would go looser. I use cheapo cobain curling irons and I love them. I've had my current one inch one for almost a decade, I honestly can't believe it hasn't died. It was maybe $15...!
