Kat Von D lock it tattoo foundation or tarte Amazonian clay 12-hour foundation?

I currently use the Kat Von D tattoo foundation but I'm starting to run low & I can't decide whether I should buy another one or try the Amazonian clay foundation. Or are there any other full coverage foundations I should try?

I personally hated the tarte foundation. I do have normal dry skin so I figured if I didn't like it, it would be because it clung to dry patches but I've used a few foundations that aren't really meant for dry skin and usually don't have an issue because I maintain my dryness really well. Anyways, I didn't like the texture of it and the coverage didn't impress me. I tried the kvd lock it, tarte amazonian and estee lauder double wear all at the same time and I honestly probably wouldn't have hated it so much if I didn't try the double wear around the same time. The DW has amazing coverage, made my skin look flawless and literally lasted all day on me and looked just as good as when I first applied it. Personally, I'd try the double wear or get samples of both and compare them.

If you like the kvd, you'll like the tarte one. They are very similar in thickness and coverage. I personally like the kvd one more, but they don't carry my color anymore so I usually go for the tarte one. I have dry sensitive skin but I like the finish on both. It does take getting used to the thickness, but if you're used to kvd's it won't be much different.

Another vote for Double Wear over here. I have oily skin and it's the best foundation I've ever tried!

I honestly prefer the Tarte Amazonian clay rather than Kat Von D lock it foundation. Just because Tarte is more easily spread throughout my skin
