My friend Hannah m and I made an awesome lip scrub recipe!! You take as much vaseline or petroleum jelly as needed to fill up half or 3/4 of your container, then you take brown sugar (or sugar more abrasive than table sugar) mix as much as needed into the Vaseline. Add a drop of honey to make it less slick. We also added a drop of red food coloring to tint our lips after we use it. I use this every morning!! It's not too abrasive and it's PERFECT for dry cracked lips!! My lips have so much damage and this has really helped them!! It's also really nice to use it in the morning because my lips get really damaged overnight!! Hope this helps!! I also have a recipe for a tinted lip jelly but it's not as moisturizing:/

Right. Urm. For lips u only need to melt down some beeswax and add a little mica mineral for colour. Also add a couple drops of essential oil for healing and smell. Have a look at plush folly. A uk company bit have videos on making things x

Moisturising creams are simply beeswax and oils melted together using emulsyfying wax. U can add other things into the mix and some preservative like grapefruit seed extract. U must bear in mind that homemade products have a short shelf life and need to b refrigerated x

You can get beeswax at a health food store. Adding vitamin e will help the oils to not go rancid and give it a longer shelf life.

My favorite is adding tons of crushed wintergreen Altoids to beeswax, heating it up over the stove and then letting it cool. Tastes smells and feels great!

you can make cream blushes by melting down unwanted lipsticks with a hint of vaseline. cream eyeshadows can be made by crushing down old eyeshadows and mixing them with vaseline! those little jars are great for things like that. I do a lot of DIYs with my makeup that's still good but I don't wear them anymore.
