I've heard a lot of people say it has shimmer. It's weird! When I used it, it didn't have any shimmer at all. That was in 2013/early 2014 though...so maybe they changed the formula from then?

I even think I got a second bottle around mid June 2014 and that one didn't have any shimmer either. Idk haha

I have the loreal true match lumi, no shimmer. But if you have oily skin I wouldn't at all recommend it because it's a dewy finish. It's medium coverage but I think you can build it to full, and it oxidizes really well. I don't know why that had shimmer in it, Maybe a bad batch.

Maybe there's a shimmer version and a no shimmer version.. or maybe you had something that was shimmery on your head, like previous makeup? I dunno..that really is strange.

I bought mine today and I freaked out because of the gold shimmer!! I thought at first I could be my powder brush but apparently it really the foundation!!
