Hmmm.. maybe just paint some sort of design on one nail. maybe like a glitter french tip on one nail. that's different. I think I might try that myself lol
just go for it. a lot times when I do my nails I don't have a plan..I just wing it.

You could do a half shiny/half matte nail by using tape.
