They are a lighter weight solution to foundation. I use bb cream everyday when I don't really want a full face of makeup. I have oily skin so I have to prime and set but otherwise, yeah it does a great job. :)

I tried the Too Faced BB creme and I absolutely hated it! It wore off so quickly and had ingredients that caused me to break out in a severe rash. It depends on the creme and your skin.

A BB cream will be similar to a tinted moisturizer in texture. It's a more natural look than you get with foundation. I've tried Maybelline BB CREAM , lord it sucks , I wouldn't recommend it to anyone ! I would understand that it's lightweight but I mean somewhat coverage would be nice ? NO NOTHING .. Do not try theirs

I've tried the covergirl one n Ehh its ok its more like a tinted moistureizer but I have oily skin so it feels alil weird after awhile

The ones I found to work best are garnier bb cream (at drugstore) or the smashbox photo ready bb cream (at makeup counters or sephora). They work great. Just prime before and set with powder :)

@Lexi oh my gosh it really does smell nice haha. I put some on before my boyfriend and I went to the store and when he hugged me, he smelled my face and said I smelled really good!

basically a tinted moisturizer! think about it, bb cream moisturizes, primes, evens out skintone.... hmm? a good moisturizer would do that. bb creams give light coverage? bam, tinted moisturizer. Try mixing foundation and your cream to see what it possibly could be like :) personally hate bb creams and never understood the hype

I'm really fair skinned so a lot of foundations don't work well with my skin. The Bb cream being light weight and light colored blended a lot better with my face and skin color. Some also help mosturize the skin which is a nice bonus. But be careful

I love the Garnier BB cream. I have normal to dry skin and I put a light moisturizer on first and set with a little powder. It evens my skin tone and gives SPF protection.

A BB Cream is a product between a foundation and a tinted moisturiser/moisturiser, but give little more coverage than a tinted moisturiser but still are light weight and easy to use, and a alternative to a foundation, but without the thick cakey finish that some foundation give you, one that I would defiantly recommend the Garnier Miracle Skin Perfector BB Cream, it's amazing and gives the most amazing coverage, but is still lightweight! Also it's cheap and affordable and is under $15.

I've tried smash box,urban decay and maybelline. The first two I did not like at all UD was cakey smash box had me looking snooki season one orange and maybelline made my skin oily sometimes and made me breakout. So I have not had good experiences with bb cream.

I have the Garnier BB cream and I love it! I have a really clear complexion and I don't need much coverage so it's perfect for me. The only problem is my skin is becoming too fair for the light/medium and Garnier doesn't make one for fair skin.

The one by lorel comes out white and it has like beads that pop to match you skin color or whatever,but this causes it to be a bit grainy.

The Lioelle Triple the Solution BB cream is literally SO PERFECT. It gives medium coverage rather than light coverage and it is very light weight and makes your skin look great! It was $28 on the site I got it on and I'm very happy with the purchase! I highly recommend it!

I love my Dr. Jart+ Water Fuse BB Cream... A bit pricier, but worth it, imo.
