Do you use any spot treatments when you have breakouts? I realized the one I was using was too harsh and was really contributing to dark spots after. Anyway, I use sunscreen to help prevent them from forming, and you can use a moisturizer with licorice root extract among the top ingredients to help fade it. You can even buy a bottle of the extract from a health food store/online and mix a drop or two in with your moisturizer each night.

I think my spot treatment is too harsh. It KILLED my skin and dried it out like no other. 10% benzoyl peroxide 😁 I will definitely check it out, thank you so much!!

You would need a lightning cream but it can cause the other parts of your face to look darker than the spots you put it on so you'd probably need to apply it very precisely or on your whole face which may cause break outs on the parts you don't usually have being that those creams are usually pretty strong they run for about $25 min depending on the brand and how well they work you can find them in drugstores or for a more professional treatment contact a dermatologist.

Oh yeah I was using a lotion with 2.5% BP and it gave me bad dark spots. Regular exfoliation can also help with skin turn-over so spots fade faster!
