Anna, I have insanity but I just couldn't get into it! I was disappointed. My bf said he likes p90x better, I haven't done that one to compare, but I was bummed about insanity.

I do a 45 minute workout everyday on JUST DANCE and I don't eat anything in between meals and if you drink a lot of squash or water you won't feel hungry x

I lost weight by watching calories....I cut all portions in half. And lots of water with lemon juice....cold and warm. Cleans your system out and citrus cuts fat. My daughter did this too and recently lost 21 pounds. Easy!!!! You can do this!!!!!!!

Ok, here's the bottom line.
If you have more calories going out than in, you will lose weight. Period.
The point of exercising is NOT to burn calories. The point of exercising is to build muscle mass so that you burn more calories AT REST just by existing. No, you're not going to look like a body builder. If you know any - ask them. It takes a crapton of work and supplements to build mass to that point and it's much harder for women to do so.
Those two things being said, I am not advocating starving yourself, obviously. My point is that you can lose weight eating nothing but twinkies. The reason why you shouldn't do that is because your nutrition will suffer, which in turn will make your appearance suffer even if pounds are coming off. Watching what you eat means two things: 1 - nutrients and 2 - caloric content.
All of the above advice is good, but keep what I said in mind. It's biology 101.

80% diet 20% exercise! Start by cutting out one thing at a time from you diet, start by carbs!! That is you worse enemy! No bread of any color! Then cut sugars even fruits, try to get those vitamins from vegetables instead of fruit! No soda water water water! Cut any kinda of dairy from your diet! I lost 25 pounds 5 years ago and still kept it off I eat healthy and I feel great hope this helps it worked for me, it may not work for everyone
