This client wanted much stronger color show than I originally placed on her. She was happy in the end so that's what matters right? Products: VooDoo foundation, RCMA HAC, YSL Touche Éclat, Lorac Pro palette, Nars blush Orgasm, topped with LoveJoy when it wasn't bold enough for her, Elizabeth Arden highlight stick on cheekbones, Kat Von D eyeliner, Anastasia blonde brow pomade, MUFE lipstick in Rouge Artist Natural N9, Mac Lipliner in Spice.

WOW! I would not say this is the same person. She looks ten years younger and 20 pounds thinner. AMAZING makeover. When are you going to come to Minnesota to go to the Mall of America and give me a makeover? (JOKING, but sort of not...)

You've done an amazing job of dealing with sagging skin and droopy eye shape here. Not being mean to your client, I have the same issues, so I'm super impressed. Just wow. CLAPPY HANDS!!
Did you do contouring on her or did you just do blush? I think the blush is a bit much, personally, but then it's what she wanted, LOL at NARS orgasm not being bold enough for her. To each his/her own, though and she looks fabulous. Love the sparkle under the eye, it really gives a nice flare of glamour. Nice way to get sparkle onto the for someone who doesn't have much lid space.

Wow she does lol younger which is very odd because usually heavy makeup ages people haha, I'm also impressed. She looks beautiful. I agree with the blush as well but hey the customer is always right I suppose.

Thank you ladies so much!! I agree the blush is harsh but that's what she wanted so hey, what ya going to do right? Lol. I used several things to contour and I had her tilt her face a little to make her face look slimmer in the pic. Jenny thank you! I wish I could come to Minnesota. Really though! I can't tell you ladies how much I appreciate your comments. It really helps me keep going on the days I feel frustrated.

Oh and I think she didn't end up looking older because even thought I went heavy on eyes/cheeks/lips, the VooDoo foundation I use is phenomenal. No cake face, no settling into lines, etc.

Alma, I did the Ms Louisiana pageant but that's the only one.
Traci I would love to help you guys order VooDoo because I stand by it 100% but unfortunately you can only order from a VooDoo affiliate (me) and even though I don't make money or commission or gain any kind of profit at all, I think it's against Beautylish rules to do that. I suppose I could email them and explain or something, maybe they could talk to the academy and see that I don't gain from it in any way, but I doubt they'll do that. It's unfortunate because that foundation is freakin flawless, feels like velvet looks like an airbrush. It's amazing.

The reason it's not available to the general public is because it's hand made by my artist instructor. If she made it publicly available there's no way she could produce that much herself. She makes it for the graduates to use to represent the VooDoo brand and name. We can take orders but she can't just open a website or anything.

I completely understand, but am still a little bummed because you and your clients always have such flawless skin in your photos and I love trying new foundations! Maybe someday I will see you at IMATS or another beauty event and can order some then!

I agree with Alma's above comment. Not only beauty pageants but women's fitness competitions. When I used to do them our makeup had to be extreme but flawless at the same time so our faces wouldn't disappear under all those dang lights. Just have to have a strong mind to handle the short fuses of the contestants...they can be pretty snappy because of the extreme food restrictions in prep for the big day and the fact its very painful standing up on stage flexing every single muscle at once while wearing a smile. Let me know what part of LA you reside in and I can give you contest info that way you can get contact with the sponsors to see about advertising your services.
