I don't own either, but if I were to pick one I'd choose number 1 but I think that's just preference. Definitely see swatches and decide what colors you'd wear more.

They are both amazing palettes so you can't go wrong with either. I personally like naked 1 a little more but if you like shimmery shadows then naked 2 might be the right one for you.

I own and love both.
Naked 1:
More warmed toned, bronzes, golds, few champagnes(sin, tosted, hustle) only 2 mattes both browns one lighter (Naked)one a smidge darker(Buck) (medium brown defiantly not chocolate) and a glittery black my absolute favorites are virgin, sidecar and sin
I happen to favor 1 over 2 just because my preference in colors. Im actually on my 2nd named palette I got the first one within a few weeks after it was first released and got my replacement one for Christmas this last year because I hit pan on almost all the colors
Naked 2:
More Cooled tones
Taupe colors, 3 mattes a cream (foxy), a pale brown (tease) and a black (blackout) I find the colors in this palette to be more shimmer and a bit less glitter than 1. They repeated Half Baked in the 2nd which I liked because I happen to love that color.
Favorite colors are:Chopper, YDK, and Suspect
I got this palette right after it came out too but I just dont reach for it as much over naked 1 but I do often because I still love somenof the colors
Both palettes are super creamy and blendable with amazing staying power and pigmentation although some colors as most UD eyeshadows are are glittery with fall out. But I just do my eyes first wipe off the fallbout then do my face..
Although I do have a few other palette options if your open.
Lorac Pro 1 or 2 Both have amaing wide range of natural wearable colors with a few jewel toned ones both have an even amount of both mattes and shimmers, not very glittey like the Naked.
Also the Too Face Chocolate Bar palette is amazing. I got it last year for Valentine's Day and love it. It has mattes, shimmer/glitters and satins with bronzes toupes pinks/purples, champagnes. And almost all the color are very pigmemted and blendable. Although its not my absolute favorite because I find a few colors chalky and not as pigmented and it smells like chocolate and the smell (atleast mine) lingers for quite awhile after I aply it. And I dont really love the pinks\purples (starwberry bonbon, candied violet or black forest truffle) or the weird green olive brown color(gilded ganche). Although I do love the burgundy color in it. (Cherry cordial and amaretto) don't have the New Semi Sweet Chocolate Bar so I can't really tell you much on that.
Also for Christmas I just got the UD Vice 3 which I love because it has a great mix of neurals and colors but I dont know how fond you are of colors.

I think you really should go to both Ulta (for Lorac) and Sephore to actually check out the palettes in person to swatch the color and feel which ones you like texture wise and also the colors always look a bit different in person. And you can actually tell what they will look like with your skin tone so you can choose which colors from which palettes you like more on yourself.
