Morning, y'all! Today I decided to use my Sugarpill Sparklebaby palette for the first time, and because it's a permanent palette I decided to review it as well :)

So, first of all, this palette is not for the faint of heart. There are no neutrals at all, so if you're a neutrals kinda gal, this palette is probably not for you. That said, if you're a neutrals kinda gal and you maybe want to branch out a bit, I think this palette could be a good choice.

So there are four shades:

Kitten Parade, a really pretty pale orangey shimmer, reminiscent of FreeLove from Urban Decay or Inglot's #407 Pearl. It's subtle, and it's not a very in-your-face orange, which I like. I used this for blending out my crease color, which was...

Hotsy Totsy, a matte hot pink. I was expecting there to be issues with this, since I had read reviews that this particular shade was patchy or didn't blend well, but I don't think I had that problem. I'm normally not a pink girl but I actually really like this one.

Frostine, this shade is supposed to be a matte pastel purple. THIS was the biggest disappointment of the palette, for me. It came off basically white, so much so that I even used a wet brush and it STILL didn't come across as purple. It wasn't a bad textured eyeshadow, it blended nicely and it didn't feel chalky or anything, it just looked totally white.

Candy Crush, which might be my favorite shade. It's a shimmery pastel blue, it's not ultra bright obviously but it is definitely blue. It's so easy to work with, super shimmery, with an aqua tint to it. I loooove this. It's just so pretty, even if it's not particularly bright.

Now I think I'll take a page from Kitty's book:

Price: 8/10. It's a good value, you get a lot of product, but there are palettes like Too Faced which have 9 shades for $36. If you're looking for a lot of shades, this may not be the best choice for you

Packaging: 7/10, it's a bit too cutesy for me, but I do like it a lot.

Texture: 9/10, these shadows feel super nice and they're really easy to work with.

Shades/Payoff: 6/10, ONLY because Frostine was so disappointing. If it were just the other 3 shades, it would be 10/10 easy. The colors are so beautiful I'm just angry that Frostine didn't translate well. The color-lover in me is so happy with this palette.

This palette is really nice, I think that the color choices were good and that there are a lot of possible looks you can make with this if you feel like being creative :) for $34, I think it's a pretty great deal. If you like colors, I definitely suggest going for this palette.

All in all, I'm pretty happy with the way this look turned out. I like the palette a lot, even if the only bright shade is the hot pink. To deal with that, I had to add some bright eyeliners, but I still am totally a fan. Ignore my pictures, it's rainy and disgusting out so nothing is really going well. Also, my closeup shots are without falsies, which I added later and now am no longer home to take more.

Additional products:
-Kat Von D Lightning Liner in Poe
-Sephora Flashy Waterproof Eyeliner (which is now discontinued but similar shades are UD's Junkie or Marc Jacobs' Intro (vert))
-Per-fekt Lash Perfection Gel
-Ardell Lashes #135
-Duo Brush On Lash Glue
-Urban Decay Primer Potion

As always, questions, suggestions, comments and opinions are very welcome. Let me know if I missed some information that you'd like to hear about :)

Also, ignore my face that stupid zit has been there for like 5 days and won't go away. How annoying.

Thanks :) I actually really like this palette, I think it needs some additional deep liner colors to go with it but other than that I'm loving it. They come in individuals too, and I'd say the easiest to use is probably Kitten Parade, if you just want to try one :)

You look gorgeous, I really love what you did! And I think the purple looks quite purple on your eye...is it just me? These eyeshadow colors are really not for me but you managed to do a look even I would enjoy wearing!

My sister in law literally asked me if it was supposed to be white. That was sort of upsetting but I suppose it's the lighting, in person it actually does look white or at least far more pale than in the picture. I'm glad you like it! :)

I agree with Breeze as well, it looks like a very pastel purple, well, Lavender haha.

I think the problem I'm having is that it's so so pale compared to the pan, which is the same shade as the stock picture. That's what I was expecting, color-wise.

Thanks, Llesenia! I know! And I have to keep fighting the urge to pop it. I just want my skin to calm down this is the first zit I've had in like years.

I feel this look would be sooo much better if you could incorporate some thicker lashes :)
