Any tips to avoid lumpy mascara after only a few weeks use.

I love using Rimmel London Wonderful mascara with Argan Oil. but I find myself buying a new bottle every month as it goes lumpy. I try and make sure not to pump the wand in and out as this causes air pockets. but apart from that it doesn't matter which mascara I use it always goes lumpy. anyone have any tips to avoid this or how I can make it last longer please.?7.99 mascara is pricey especially every 4 weeks.

I've heard two ways to undo this is adding in eye drops our putting the closed mascara bottle in a cup of warm water.
