Its best to ask the advice of your doctor about this one.

Wait until you are about 3 months(12 weeks) and make sure you are in a well ventilated area.

If you want to dye your hair, I say wait. My aunt dyed her hair while being pregnant (she's 19) and when the baby came out, nobody noticed her hair because of her belly getting normal again. Dyeing your hair after the pregnancy with your "new" flat belly will make everyone think you look the best you can! Which you will :)

Another thing is that hormones can cause the color to not turn out right, just a warning. I colored my hair and it was fine, but it CAN make it turn weird colors especially if you are going blonde. Your hair is going to be growing fast while you are pregnant so you need to maintain the color.

I'm currently pregnant at about 19 weeks and I just began to start dying my hair. With everything going on in your body its always nice to take time out and do something to make you feel beautiful again. Its completely safe as long as you have a lot of ventilation, gloves on and are careful with the harsh fumes.
Good luck, I know it made me feel better.

Ask your doctor!!!! Avoid during at least the first trimester. Keep color of scalp and use a more natural color line. Go to a salon and let them know your pregnant. Try an aveda salon. Also, why you should do it in a salon, pregnancy changes your hair. Your hair is going to color different and react different than it did before.

When I was pregnant, I got a pamphlet of FAQs from him. And one was about hair dye. It said it is safe as long as it's ammonia free.

very safe... doesn't "soak in" at all. the only thing u need to worry about is hormones. hormones can affect the color outcome. other than that ur good. we all need to feel beautiful even when ur pregnant!
~keep calm and style on~

As a color specialist I was trained not to service a pregnant client without permission from her doctor...so I think it would be a good idea to ask
