Lipstick brand and shade? - Red lipstick.

Any suggestions on the best brand and shade of red lipstick that you may have used and have found that it is long lasting and applies well? Also what would you recommend the best way of applying lipstick is?

I really like Wet n wild mega last lipstick in stoplight red. I usually just apply it from the tube then clean it up with concealer.

I love the Urban Decay Revolution lipstick in the shades F bomb and Gash. Another fave of mine is Kat Von D's Everlasting liquid lipstick in the shade Outlaw. Laura Mercier's lipstick in Red amour and Buxom's in Menace are nice as well but not as long lasting for me compared to the others I mentioned. The one that lasts the longest for me is the KVD. I have a couple other lippies that line and love them all so much! As for application, I always line my lips with a clear liner first to prevent the lipstick from feathering, I use Urban Decay's 24/7 lip liner in Ozone for that. Then I usually just apply the lipstick from the center of my lips working outwards. Clean up any mistakes with a concealer after and your done. If you want to be really precise with your application you could use a lip brush. The order of pic is KVD, UD F bomb, UD Gash, LM red amour and lastly Buxom menace.

L'Oreal British Red or Revlon Red Lacquer.

I put on a thick layer of Chapstick, let it sit while I do other makeup, wipe off the excess with a tissue, line and fill in my lips with clear lip liner (Maybelline has one), apply straight from the tube, blot, apply again, and then clean up the edges as necessary.
