As far as I know its silicone based. I use lancome la base pro primer with it or smashbox photo finish primer both work great for me.

Yes I just looked at the ingredients & it's definitely silicone based.

Lol but lancome has a primer called la base pro that is supposed to be really good, & it's for all skin types

It's called la base pro skin perfecting makeup primer. (There's 3 different ones that start off with the same title so make sure you get the skin perfecting one) if that's the one you want. Which I've heard is the best one & it's silicone based

Then I would definitely get a sample before so you don't purchase something you aren't happy with. It's 42$? I believe & your budget was 50$ right? :)
