How can I refresh my MAC paint pot after it dried out?

I heard this works for dried out liquid eyeliner... So I'm not sure, but if you pop it in the microwave for 15 sec or set it on top of your straightener...it's supposed to moisten it. Tell me if you try it, I wonder if it works with paint pots
