My foundation always looks kinda flat on my face. Just very dull and flat. I don't know if that makes sense... I use Revlon Colorstay.. I've tried illuminators (such as Nars Orgasm illuminator) and highlights (one from Urban Decay On The Run) but nothing ever really makes my face look less flat and more dimensional..
If anyone has any advice, please let me know! Xx (also, no dewy finish foundations, they have no lasting power on me at all!)

Contouring should do the trick!! Some practice with this will make your look go a long way! There are tons of tutorials on YouTube if you are unsure what areas to contour & highlight. Hope I helped. xx

I add Benefit's High Beam to my foundation (just a brush stroke) which helps illuminate my skin prior to highlighting and contouring.

Try mixing a liquid illuminator into your foundation so that it gives you more of a dewy finish without changing foundations. also try contouring to bring dimension to the face.
