what's so great about MAC paintpots?

I've been seeing that a lot of people like MAC's paint pots and I was gonna try out MAC cosmetics and I was wondering what's so good about it?

I'm not a fan. While it gives color as well as acts as a base, my eye shadows still crease. I prefer UD's primer potion or two faced shadow insurance

I looooove bare study - I use it over UD primer in sin and it makes a beautiful shimmery neutral. But even bare study by itself is gorgeous, and they wear really well. But I've never used them as just a primer.

It makes for a great primer under vibrant eyeshadows or you can wear them alone. Sometimes if I want a quick look I just use one as an all over color and a darker shade paint pot in my outer v of lid.

Try maybelline 24 hour color tattoo. Similar concept, much more affordable!
