Ladies, what would you recommend for when I go maternity clothes shopping? I know I'll need black shirts and black pants for work, and I want a pair of jeans, but other then that, I don't know.

If you are pregnant, CONGRATULATIONS! If Google was trolling me and you are not pregnant... Then I hope I gave you some inspiration for the future?

Congratulations!!
Maternity clothing is ridiculously expensive. When my cousin was pregnant, she wore the same 2 pairs of black maternity pants to work. She only bought one pair of jeans as well. I think I remember you saying you live in Canada, so a warm jacket would be a good investment. You can probably get away with buying regular clothing in a bigger size. I love the second picture Isabel posted
Also, comfortable shoes! :)

Michelle: thankfully, I can avoid a new winter jacket, I'll be due end of September, beginning of October...
Isabelle: yes, I'm pregnant, and super excited

I'm 34 weeks and I honestly just wear normal clothes, but I wear a medium instead of a small. I avoid jeans all together, just leggins and flowy shirts and big sweaters (: Avoid shoes with heels, your feet may swell so wear spacious and comfy shoes. Sports bras are a life saver, too tight of shirts can cause your stretching stomach to itch worse so I would avoid that. (: Hope I helped!

Bailee: that's great that it works for you, but I work pretty much full time with a business casual all black dress code, if I wear leggings, I can and will get fired, same with yoga pants and anything that could be "sloppy", including most oversized sweaters... I stick to boot cut dress pants and button down blouses...

If you have a ross, burlington or tj maxx around you, it's definitely worth checking out. I got almost all of my maternity clothes at ross. Pants, shirts, tanks, over shirts. Then I got my maxi skirts and dresses at kohls. If it's cold where you live, I'm sure they'll have long sleeve clothing. I got my bras from Wal-Mart. They have really good quality sports bras there.

You could also order off of motherhood maternity if there's not one near you. They're clothes are extremely comfortable.

If you have a target where you live they have nice maternity clothes for buisness casual styles and the prices are not to outrageous.
