Definitely exfoliate first! Sugar scrubs are my favorite way to go. Diva Stuff (on amazon) makes great ones, there are TONS of flavors. I'm a big fan of the caramel & sea salt and the lemon drop ones. And then try putting on a wax based balm (like burts) before your lipstick, blotting off any excess.

Cowshed lipbalm. It is really expensive (almost 20 dollars for 5mL) but it works amazing. In one or two days my lip went from chapped and bleeding to babybutt soft.

Make your lip scrub with a teaspoon of brown sugar and 3 table spoons of honey. Exfoliate your lips with that and leave it for 2 mins. Then wash off and apply a lip balm immediately. Apply your lipstick and tadaaaaahhhh!!💄💄💄💄

Scrub and moisturise with lip balm. Scrub is really easy to make or get. (e.g. Lush has a good one!)

I do have the same issues I use lip balm or chap stick and it helps a bit but sometimes I go with out lipstick cuz it's just not pretty 😔 adding lipstick makes it worse then not having it on and just applying a lip balm/moisturizer looks better till they "heal"

I wear coconut oil on mine at night and make sure to wash my lips in the morning to apply lipstick. It makes my lips look healthy and more plump

Before sleep, use a wet towel that is medium-harsh on the skin. Wrap around index finger and use pad of finger to very gently rub the lips and anywhere flaky in small circles. Area will be a little red after but will cool down later. When your lips feel smooth, you know youre done. While lips are still a little damp, apply vaseline. It will lock the moisture in so that it can all go into your skin and not evaporate off (that is the role of vaseline or white petroleum jelly). :)
