Whenever I paint my nails, they never fully dry ( even though I wait an hour or 2 for them to dry) and they always smudge and look awful. How can I prevent this?

Does this happen with every nail polish you use or just a certain brand?

Also make sure to do a clear base coat followed by a clear top coat.

I put on 1-2 coats and I use a top and base coat. This happens with all nail polish with me for some reason.

For definite for your first coat leave your nails to dry 15-20 minutes even if you think they're dry then a very light coat of clear nail polish try not to use 2 coats but definitely wait 15-20 for any nail polish

I had this problem too
You have to wait a while before putting on each layer. Like Leagh said^

I do this all the time don't add a lot of coats once you do one coat let it dry then when you do second let that dry and your fine or you can go and get a nail dryer which is actually really cheap. Hope I helped a little 😊
