My good friend sweet 16 is on Sunday and I'm wearing a flowy red dress but I also want to wear red lipstick is That ok? Red on red? And if the answer is yes then is it ok that my dress is a bright red with orange tint and my lipstick is a dark blue red should I just skip it? And if red is a no what about a red purple berry? please let me know this is my dress.

Personally I don't think they go together. I'd play up the eyes and go for a nude lip instead.

I'd go with what the other ladies are saying about the nude/pinkish lip color. Also I love the dress I had a similar event a little over a month ago and I was much happier in my slightly more conservative dress because it meant I could dance around without a care in the world and I could play up my makeup!!
