I blot, apply primer if I'm decide to use it, wait a few minutes and then apply my foundation.

If you're younger without any real skin concerns, you probably just need moisturizer and primer if you want. 2 quick tips though...don't skip sunscreen if your moisturizer doesn't have a high spf (and even then maybe don't skip it!) and leave time for each product to set between products or you will end up with a gross mess ie:pilling and uneven application.
