I'm thinking of buying some hair curling rods,has anybody else used them? What were your experiences with them? I was medium length layered hair,roughly how many would I need to buy?

I've personally never used them, (though my cousin had some for her American girl doll back in the day), but a few years ago Stila Babe (not sure her exact YouTube name, but her name is Meredith) did a tutorial on how to use them and how many you would need. I'd quickly YouTube her! (:

These are flexi rods. I use them on my hair and my extensions. You can look through my pics to see results.

I have used the 1 1/4 flexirods and they work pretty well for me. I only use 4 and sleep in them over night ( not comfortable but effective) , and then use a wide tooth pick to loosen the curls a little. My hair is at my bra line and I usually get loose curls. If you want tighter curls you may want more and of a smaller size.
