What's the best colors to use for a smokey eye look? I can never get mine to look right.

@Kaitlin M. Could I also use lighter colors? The dark colors look extremely dark on me cause I have like no tan😂 and I like using light colors too.

I love purple smokey eyes! Dark purple looks best in my opinion though, if your going for a darker smokey eye. I love using a purple shadow stick or eyeliner and make a slanted hashtag '#' in the outer corner of your eye then blend it out if your in a rush and it gives a great smokey eye without taking hardly any time! I use it all the time ☺️ A little beauty hack 😌

I love doing smokey eyes. I typically use browns and reds because those colors pair well with my eye color (blue ) , look up tutorials on YouTube on how to create a smokey eye that works with your eye color. I sometimes use purples and greens as well...

I believe this look was from a BH Cosmetics pallette. The key to blending for me is I use 3 different blendindg brushes to get a even blend and don't get any color transfer anywhere it shouldn't be.
