So I recently bought some green eye contacts & the solution that I bought for it says it expires I'm may! my question is, is it really really rrally risky if I use it after out has expired if so why? what happens to the solution? I really want to know if not so I can go return it. thank you a lot.

I think parasites can grow in resuable, improperly cleaned contacts... I wouldn't risk it!

I use contacts but I'm not sure if it's harmful. I would play it safe and not use it :)

If you can't see it that well, it basically says that using your solution past expiration date can lead to severe infection, vision loss, or blindness.

Honestly it's not even worth risking. Idk if you need special solution for colored contacts, but if you don't solution is cheap af. Eyes are so sensitive!

You actually can use it for a few months after, but the properties start to break down that protect your contacts from bacteria. I wouldn't use it past July or so.

I personally wouldn't because you are putting your contacts on to your eyes and I wouldn't want to take chances.

Try buying the small bottles of solution rather than those gigantic ones. You have a much better chance of actually using the entire small bottle without any waste!
