I looooove the buffing brush I use it for foundation everyday its way better than my sigma foundation brush for me. I also love the contour brush for blending concealer highlighting setting my under eyes and contouring. The other two I never really use

That's really expensive for real techniques! my brushes cost $6-8 usually! I love the expert face brush or buffing brush for foundation the most! I don't own the others in this set, but I love the quality of these brushes!

I use the buffing brush and expert face brush for contouring, and they are amazing. You're seriously going to love them!

(Left to right) btw these are my suggestions
1. Blush/ bronzer
2. Maybe concealer or foundation (can't really see)
3. Can't see but could be used for eyebrows or something on the eye.
4. Powder brush
Hope I helped:)

Shaye what other brushes have you tried?

I have all the brushes they have except for the new ones. Yes, they have new brushes. Don't know if they sell now in here (US). Anyways, personally the only brush I use is the contour brush. The rest I don't use. I like it at first, but my skin gets itchy everytime I use it. So I only use it if my other brushes are dirty. I use beauty blender all the time for foundations and concealers. Best for my normal to dry skin.

That's pretty expensive for a real techniques set. They're $18 at most here.

@ Alma, I've generally only ever used brushes I've been gifted with, my grandma got me a set of Avon ones a few years ago and they've sufficed but just wanted to try something new cause I cleaned out my makeup collection a few days ago haha :)

Oh ok, just a little info real techniques is eco tools and studio Basics they all come from the same manufacturer. If ever you look into other brushes always look into who makes them because you could be paying more just for the same brushes.??

I'm getting mine soon too, from Kohls. They're only $20 here, it sucks that you have to pay so much more for products there :/

I love these brushes so much! I use the Contour Brush to contour and sometimes apply blush, the Pointed Foundation Brush to set concealer under my eyes or apply my IT Cosmetics CC Cream, the Detailer Brush as a lip brush, and the Buffing Brush for blending foundation (:

I couldn't help myself so I tried the buffing brush and I love it! I'm not game to use the others right now cause I'm a scaredy cat, don't want to stain any as of yet but I do like that they're pretty soft on the skin and the buffing brush does a pretty good job for coverage, I think I'll like the rest of the brushes! I'm excited lol, feels good having a set I've been wanting to at least give a go for a good year now :p
@ Alma, oh what! Next time I'll have to look into these things._. Haha! Thank you! Now I know :)

I have the same kit :) my favorite is the contour brush, there's so many uses for it! It's synthetic, so good for cream and powder, you can use it to contour, highlight, blend concealer, apply blush. Even blend foundation if you were really in a pinch! I like the buffing brush okay, I don't like it for liquid foundation- I prefer a sponge. I do like it for my bareMinerals though- although I work for them, so I should probably be using bareMinerals brushes haha! I love the detailer brush for eyeshadow (inner corner especially). The pointed foundation brush I like for getting concealer on the skin, though I don't get too much use out of it. Sucks that things are so pricey there though! I'm moving there next year so I'm really not looking forward to that :p.
