Well you shouldn't be using a warm shade to contour anyways. To contour you'll want to use a cool toned shade since you're trying to create a shadow. I use Too Faced Chocolate Soleil Matte Bronzer because it's cool toned. Since you're so pale you'll probably want the Milk Chocolate shade rather than the regular Chocolate shade. I know people use NYX Blush in Taupe to contour but I haven't been able to pick that up to try it yet (:

Also, I ise NYX Illuminator in Ritualistic to highlight. It gives a soft glow without looking too overpowering (:

Kevyn Aucion sculpting powder is amazing and I am about the same color as you. And for a super shimmery highlight Becca moonstone, Mary lou manizer. For a beautiful, lit from within look, I love laura merciers Matte Radiance Baked Powder Compact in highlight 01 is great.

I've never used it but the Kevyn Aucoin sculpting powder looks incredible! If you're looking for a cheaper alternative, I use the NYX HD blush in Taupe and I love it, it really does mimic a shadow

I would go with the Kevyn Aucoin Contour book, it has all his lovely sculpted products in one palette.I also think Mac soft&gentle skin finish would look great on you.

Lol Jacqueline and Alma, very great points, Making Faces was the first makeup book I picked up and I still to this day reference it. He is definitely an icon that still lives strong in the beauty industry!
