I have a natural wave in my hair when wet that would be soo gorgeous when dry.. My problem, my hair is so thick and heavy that by the time it's dry, all the wave pulled out except about the last two inches of my length. Resulting in really frizzy ends. I've tried a few different mousses, and curling sprays. I'm just wondering if I'm missing something, or some product I over looked... Any help is appreciated. Thanks!

Okay, my mother-in-law have the same kind of hair, so I have see her struggle with it! First: What shampoo and conditioner do you use? You should get one that is sulphate and silicon free! Now this is something everyone should avoid but even more when you have curly/wavey hair!

Also I know Swatchkophf (hahah no idea how to spell that!!) have a "bouncy curl" in their BC line! Now I loooove they BC line and swear by their Time restore products!

Thanks girls sorry the evening got away from me!! Sabrina I tried that leave in conditioner spray and my gawd it smells ah-mazing!! Love it, so I'll look further into that line. My shampoo is sulfate free but not sure about silicone so I'll check that for sure! Thanks Megan for the tip!!

I don't have a perfect product other than oils. But I have super thick somewhat wavy hair too. (yesterday I was sick, and took a shower at 5am, I then slept till almost 9pm and it was still wet lol) but I think it's all in the way it's dried. Whether air dried or with a blow dryer, braids or twists can help, or even plopping (look it up lol its just a tshirt drying method that helps natural curls) or twisting/scrunch in while drying. When I air dry my hair I like to dry it with a tshirt to get most of the water out, and then aboyt 30 minutes later I apply argon oil to my ends and scrunch my hair all around till it's got a bit more wave. I then do that every 5-10 minutes while it dries. It gets nice and wavy :)

I find that if I want my hair to have a nice curl.. After I shower I don't brush out my hair.. Apply and frizz reducing and curl enhancing mousse (I have frizz ease) and a spray oil or I use a sea salt spray and some oil.. I find the more I wear my hair curly without straightening it after washes the better the curls look. And regular cuts and proper layers for curly hair work wonders.
