Going to new york in a month!:) Apart from ULTA and the lorac pro, what are some brands/stores/ or specific products that canada doesn't have that I should get in new york?

I think you should invest in a really good mascara… I haven't tried it, but I've heard good things about the roller lash mascara from benefit. Maybe you should check that out!

I would browse around Ulta, swatch a whole bunch of things and see what you like! I'm not sure what drugstore brands you have in Canada but I go to a Cvs or Walgreens. Wet n wild lipsticks, shadows and blushes at great and so are some Nyc products! Have fun shopping (:

Look for things like NYX, elf, Josie maran, Milani, Sonia Kashuk, MAC because american Mac stores tend to have more things available than ours (ugh)
But that's usually what I look out for when I go to the states :)

I would sooooo recommend the roller lash mascara by benefit! A lot of length without clumping:) I would also look into the Kat Von d felt tip liner and liquid lipsticks. If you have time, also the hourglass highlighters are beautifully magical!! All these can be found at sephora.
