Hello. ☺️ it is almost spring of 2015 and I need to change up my hair. I haven't changed up my hair since like the 6th grade and I am ready for a change.
a couple of facts about my hair:
• hair texture is dry and frizzy
• hair length is fairly long, but I want to grow it down to my waist
• no layers [same length]
• no bangs
• natural hair is mostly straight with several waves [really weird]
• get split ends a lot
• never been dyed or highlighted
okay, so now that you know the basic facts about my hair, here are a couple questions:
1.) should I get layers? if so, what length?
2.) how should I cut my bangs? I was thinking maybe some short-medium length side swept bangs, but I'm open to any opinions other than straight bangs [don't know exact name 😂]
3.) since my hair is dry and frizzy, what drugstore hair products do you recommend?
4.) I like to straighten my hair so what are some good straighteners and heat protectants? [preferably affordable because I'm only 13 and have a 13 year old budget!]
5.) how can I keep my hair healthy? I am not saying how to make my hair grow, I just want some tips to keep it healthier ☺️
thank you so much! pictures would be nice! I am not allowed to dye or highlight my hair and I don't want to cut off length because I'm trying to grow it down to my waist (:

I think short layers with medium side swept bangs would look really good ((:

I would get layers because it helps your hair to grow faster and doesn't hang as heavy.:)

Layers add volume, so they aren't any good for frizzy already big hair. Now, you don't have frizzy hair girl! I think they would work just fine on you, just keep in mind that they will add volume. I also agree that you would look great with bangs :)

What about side bangs? You could ask people to post pics of some...:) x
