I have very fair skin. Some brands that have great colours for us fair skin ladies are, L'Oreal True Match, Tarte, MUFE, Revlon Colourstay.

I personally loveeee L'Oreal True Match and MUFE Mat Velvet + I have oily/combo skin and it works amazing. I am not a fan of Revlon Colourstay because the consistency of the foundation seemed very different from colour to colour and it broke me out, however I know many people love this foundation.

I'm with Shauna - I'm very pale myself with combo skin and I use both of those foundations (in L'Oreal I'm W1 Porcelain and in MUFE Mat Velvet I'm 15 Alabaster). They work really well. I didn't like Revlon ColorStay...it felt like I was wearing a mask and the lightest shade oxidized on my skin. I like to use a damp Beautyblender when I apply foundation -it controls the cakeyness and makes your foundation look more natural.

I third the true match. I use shade C2 natural ivory and it is an absolutely perfect match. I also really love Maybelline fit me in the dewy and smooth formula in which I wear shade 110 porcelain.

I actually have the dream liquid mousse in porcelain ivory and I stopped using it bc it was oxidizing and turning orangy and cake on me too:(

You can try MAC Matchmaker... I use that and it doesn't give you a cakey look at all.

Revlon colorstay foundation! I'm so white I'm almost see-through, and this is the only drugstore foundation that matches me perfectly.

If you have a Sephora near you I highly recommend doing the color IQ process. I have very fair skin and found the perfect shade. I have very oily skin and use Tarte's Amazonian Clay foundation, but I got a whole list of brands to choose from.
