I have combo skin (mostly oily around my nose) and I have 4 different primers I use and I've tried all 4 with this foundation and after 2-3 hours my face is a shiny oily mess. Anyone else have these problems? If not what primer do you use?

Which primers have you used? I'm a combo girl to. I've used it with their HD primer and it was wonderful also used it with hourglass, but the most mega hold was with Sephora pure matte anti-shine base zero brilliance primer.

I have incredibly oily skin and (sorry Alma) the Sephora anti-shine primer doesn't work for me at all and doesn't keep me matte, I'm only using it so I don't waste money. I've been looking into the Rimmel Stay Matte Primer and I've heard a lot of good things about it

No problem riff, was it the base zero brillance? I bought 5 before they switched to bottle form so I still have the gray tubes and the formula is straight matte to the point you have to work quickly with it.

I've used the Clinique Super Primer, Benefit Porefessional, a primer by Mirabella, and Maybelline Master Primer. None of them worked :(

Benefit porefessional wouldn't work with the foundation it makes it slide off. Do you use a toner?

I don't use a toner because they always dry out my skin. I exfoliate with the Ocean Salt exfoliater from lush cosmetics once a week though and it helps.

The dr brandt pores no more primer is pretty good. It goes on really smooth and then sets to a very matte finish. I used it with my make up for ever foundation for a party once and my makeup looked flawless by the end of the night. When I went to take it off after 6 hours, there was still quite some makeup to take off. This also occurred during the summer and I have oily combo skin.
