I felt like the Stay Matte primer was a little too thick and tacky for a primer and didn't really help with my oiliness (or keeping my foundation on, for that matter.

I liked Rimmel Stay Matte pretty well, it's worth trying out
I also really like the Mary Kay foundation primer (16$) and Neutrogena shine control

I agree with Bailey. The consistency is almost like a lotion. Way too thick for an everyday primer.

I like rimmel stay matte primer I actually like the consistency because I tried another of their primers and it was too watery.

I use the smashbox photo finish primer & I love it.
I've heard the elf primer works good.

Rimmel Fix and Perfect is my drugstore choice. Laura Mercier radiance primer is my high end choice. Also Whip Hand Set The Stage is great. Makeup will stay put and it fills in pores or fine lines to create a perfect canvas.

I've tried many primers from high end to drugstore and the one I seem to always go for is my n7 beautifully matte makeup base. I have super oily skin and that one has worked the best for me and only $10 at my nearby target.
