Why Urban Decay?

What makes Urban Decay so awesome? I've never tried it, sorry to say, but if anyone thinks that i MUST try a product from it, i will! Which ones, and why? Or, does anyone think Urban Decay is no good?

I only have the Naked palette and that's it. I really love the colors, pigmentation and blend ability of the shadows. It came with a little primer potion that I like but it's not something I can't live without. The shadows are definitely worth the investment.

24/7 glide on eye pencils are amazing! They go on so easy, stay on without smearing and they have so many colors to choose from. I think I have 10 of their eyeliners. These are my go to pencil eyeliners. Favorites are: Junkie, LSD, Perversion, & Rockstar.

i like urban decay. ireally do. only problem are the naked paletts. iabsolutley dont like them . there are only like 3or 2 matte colors. the rest are shimmery. iguess it just depends if u want shimmery or matte colors. but other than that. i love primer posion . love the shadows.

My personal reasons for liking UD started because they have such a nice range of colored eyeshadows. I've always liked to wear bright colors and UD was one of the first brands I discovered that offered that. Their stuff is also good quality and long lasting which is always a plus when it comes to makeup. I think it's worth a try if you see something you think you might like. I don't own any of the naked palettes but they're neutrals so I think they would be a good place to start if you don't want to jump into buying a palette of crazy colored shadows. Their primer potion is a great product regardless of what shadow you use though. Overall I think they are worth a try :)

I am obsessed with their primer potions and their eyeshadow pigmentation is perfect! I also love their 24/7 glide on pencils. I am strong believer of you get what you pay for. Especially with makeup! UD products are amazing and worth the money!

I actually have the amo pallete by UD. It has about 10 colors and its a great way to try new looks! The texture is very smooth and blendable. And it's one of the few UD packaging that is small and practical!

I have the ammo palette as well and I agree with Kelcey, its a great way to try some bolder colors, but it also has a few really nice neutrals too. In fact I think I use that palette alone for most of my neutral looks. And the packaging is definitely among their most practical and travel-friendly.

I think there's certain things in every brand to make them stand out. I do own a lot of urban decay from when I first really got into makeup and some I use on a daily basis. The urban decay primer potions are something I use everyday even if to just even out the discoloration of my lids. I also love my vice palette because it offers fun colors but also neutrals. I do however think their matte shadows are a flop and the ones with big clumps of glitter (besides stalker<3) I never reach for. They got a lot of followers because they were cruelty free but that may change now after being acquired by l'oreal (I believe...sorry I'm like half asleep) so only the future will tell. I do think the naked palettes are overrated though I had the naked 2 and actually returned it bc I never used it.

I use the UD skyscraper mascara and the all nighter setting spray and both products are awesomeeee
I used to use the UD naked skin foundation but ehhh it didn't last long on my skin.

Their eyeshadows and eyeliners and primer potion are the most popular and people tend to forget everything else they own, haha. But their morals suck. They were all for women's rights and animal rights for over 16 years and then they just ended up throwing that away in June when they decided to sell in China (who don't REQUIRE testing always, but it's a possibility they may HAVE TO) and then took it back... and then sold themselves to L'oreal who DO test (although there are some brands under L'oreal that don't test BUT WORK WITH ME HERE).

So yeah, great products. Their morals are a bit, uh, loopy nowadays. And they recycle their products A LOT. Their vice palette will never be '20 never seen before' shades because we've all seen them before and the recycle NAKED all the time. three palettes now and a nail polish kit, move on from the naked. you're getting clingy, LOL! They would be a better brand, imo, if they took the time to work on other products they have and move away from the shadows for a bit.

if u feel up to it try the naked palettes or for less money try the naked basics also their primer posion
