What are other good uses for coconut oil? My mum bought me some for the dry ends of my hair so I was wondering what else it's good to use as?

It can be used on the body, I don't recommend it for the face, it can cause clogged pores which can result in qcne.

Coconut oil is good for a lot of things. Stretch marks, moles/warts, moisturizer, lip balm, weight loss, hair, your heart, fungus, sunburn, toothaches, oil pulling (for your teeth, urinary tract infections, bones, cooking, makeup remover, deodorant, shaving cream, gum removal.. like if you get it in your hair, sore throat, pet health, wrinkles & dandruff.. Probably more. But that's all I ccan remember

I use it for cooking as moisturiser if my face is really dry, but don't let it get too hot and melted or it might cause allergic reactions even if you're not allergic your skin could become super dry and red and itchy. For your hair. For lashes and eyebrows. as a lip moisturiser. I mix it with other things when I make a face scrub. A table spoon a day is good for your digestion. as a makeup remover. I use it for after shaving as a lotion. I use olive and coconut oil for oil pulling.

I use it for oil pulling, keeping my scalp as well as the rest of my hair moisturised, all over body moisturiser (not my face), shaving cream, lip balm when I'm desperate, eye makeup remover, deodorant (mix it with some baking soda or something like that), soothing sunburn.

Sarah and Amy... do you all see / feel a difference with oil pulling? I'm curious about it :)

It takes a while and it's hard to get used to but I find my teeth are whiter and they just feel cleaner.

This is a really good article on it: http://foodmatters.tv/articles-1/the-7-health-benefits-of-oil-pulling
