Why do YOU wear makeup??

My friend keeps arguing with me because of the amount of makeup that I wear to go to school, she wears no makeup what so ever and says I should stay natural so that I won't have this image of perfection in my head. I tried multiple of times to explain to her that makeup brings out the beauty in me and helps me gain self confidence in myself therefore I can learn in school without worrying if someone is looking at the acne in my cheek she refuses to see that point of view and says that makeup will only make my acne even worse ( even though I use the most expensive foundation and make sure I clean my skin and pores very well before bed and also use my moisturiser and my acne cream ect) anyone I wanted to point out some very good reasons as to why girls wear makeup, I'd love to know your reasons guys so please let me know ❤️

I can not leave my house without makeup even if I want to I just do not have enough self confidence to do so.
makeup is one of the main things I love in life.
I love how you can experiment with anything and if you don't like it you can just wipe it off at the end of the day.
I love the whole process of doing my makeup, learning new techniques and tricks.
makeup just amazes so many people including me.

I wear makeup for many reasons: I wear it because I love the process of putting it on everyday. I also wear makeup because I like to accentuate my facial features. And I also wear makeup because I suffer with redness. And it's nice to be able to cover it up. I believe that wearing makeup is perfectly fine. I hate when people judge others about their makeup

Because I enjoy the process... If that makes sense. I love doing my makeup, I don't need it. But I enjoy putting my makeup on myself or somebody else. I am confident in my own skin and going out the door with a bare face. But I feel extra good when I'm glammed up. Honestly people are going to say something about it all the time whether you wear too much makeup or that you don't need it... Blah blah. But truth is it's something that we enjoy doing. And we can feel beautiful with or without it. You shouldn't have to explain it to people but unfortunately some people just don't get it :) just keep doing you girl! Know you are beautiful with or without it and you can wear makeup because you can :)

I've just recently started liking makeup more, and what I love about it is the variability and the excitement of trying new products. I love how my bb cream evens out my skin but doesn't look unnatural. I wouldn't want to be at the point where I couldn't leave the house without a full face, but I do enjoy putting it on when I do wear it. The days I do wear makeup I just love trying out a new lip color or mascara, and just feeling put together, in a way.

Truthfully I don't under why girls who don't wear makeup consider themselves such special snowflakes because they're going natural. Especially if they're making other girls feel bad about themselves for wearing makeup. personally I wear makeup because it's fun to apply, and I like how I look after I do it. I have enough self confidence to feel good walking out with absolutely nothing on my face acne and all yet girls who don't have such self confidence and who do wear makeup to hide these flaws shouldn't be demonized. it's like you're going to punish them for having acne and feeling insecure about it while simultaneously boosting your own ego by bragging how wonderful of a person you are for not wearing makeup. honestly I don't get it.

I totally agree with melanie it's horrible when girls that don't feel the need to wear makeup because they already have good skin make fun of girls who wear full face makeup.
many girls have acne or un-even skintone like myself.
although some girls are lucky to have "perfect skin" everyone has flaws and I just like to cover mine up to boost up my confidence.

There's never a morning or night where I don't want to put makeup on or I just don't feel like it. I love to put it on myself and other people it's just another way I can express myself!:)
