Generally, I just don't have the skin for foundation. I'm pinky in most places, dry in some, I have large pores, etc.
so, do you guys have any tips for me to help the appearance if my foundation better?

There's primers or you could use a pad to blend it. Sometimes a Bb/CC cream works better than foundation.

Use double foundation or whatever it's called by Eva pearl! And colour correcting primer. Bobbi brown is suggesting to use concealer on the redish parts of the face and then apply foundation on it! :) hope it helps

Moisturize and get a green concealer and a pore minimizing primer

Use a stippling brush and make circular motions with it to reduce the appearance of pores (make sure it's not too stiff)
