What is Gel Nail Polish?

I keep hearing LOADS about gel nail polish... but I don't know what it is! Is it the same as regular nail polish?

It's basically a thicker polish that is usually glossy, it stays on for a longer period of time and doesn't chip as fastly. Mostly people get their gel nail polish done in salons but a few brands have been coming out with some!

I was crazy about them 2 years ago but had to quit using them coz they ruined my healthy nails. I suggest you stay away from them.

I loooove my no chip kit. My job was wreaking havoc on my nails, but when I have gel polish on they can withstand anything. They do make your nails brittle when you take them off though. But I'll deal with that if I ever decide to call it quits haha. Right now, I'm obsessed.

I used the Mally gel nail kit it comes with the led light and everything and it was so pretty and shiny but dam did it mess up my nails they were so thin and ugly afterwards! unless you plan on doing them every 3-4 weeks

What I've found works best is the Revlon gel polish. It's really cheap and cute colors. It hasn't caused any damage to my nails and you can take it off with normal nail polish remover.

I honestly love Gels. I've worn them for a few months. They have not caused any damage to my natural nails at all. They stay on for weeks! Love them
