I don't like having dark lips. I've tried using nude pink lipstick but it makes me look like I have hypothermia.. Is there a way for me to make them lighter?!?

Ahhh.....I just assisted someone else on the same situation because I have pigmented lips as well and it affects the outcome of many lippies I have. You can address it several ways. If you can afford it MAC sells a product called Lip Erase. Its basically concealer for the lips. It allows you to have even colored lips after lipstick application. Or you can try any flesh tone corrector or concealer that is a few shades lighter than your skin tone. Now with the latter it best to pick a corrector or concealer that does not have a creamy texture to it. With any of these products a beeswax based lip balm is must prior to application since all three can be a bit drying. Also exfoliation is vital too prior to use. I have all three and the MAC lip erase in Dim did a great job at giving me an even lip look I'm really impressed with using the corrector because I found out from the MUA who does my makeup from time to time told me that is what she uses on my lips (I had no clue).

I just checked out your profile and from what I could see from your profile if you go for the MAC lip erase get it in the shade Dim because the other, in Light, might be too too light.

You will need to order it online if you're not near a PRO store. My PRO store is in Orlando which is two hours away from me. If you order it now before Dec 31 you won't have to pay for shipping.
