I dyed my hair twice with this. The first time I was in the same situation as you, the second time it was VIBRANT.

Fourth. I dyed it a total of four times to get to vibrant red, it damaged my hair a little, a lot less than I expected it to.

The hair dye is for darker colored hair, so no bleach is required, that's what I loved most. (:
